SepTeMbeR

So I realize that it's already halfway through October, but there were a lot of things that we did/happened during September that I want to post about...First on September 3rd, we did our first triathlon! Granted, it was a sprint triathlon, so not your typical full length one, but it was still fun. The run was a 5K, the biking was 16 miles, and the swim was only 350 meters. I needed to start out small considering I've never real swam laps before:)

Look at that beautiful form! ha ha

I wish I could've taken more pictures during the race, but that's kinda difficult to do.

Then later in the month BJ had a birthday! I threw a surprise party for him with some friends and family and then on the weekend I took him to the circus up in Salt Lake. Unfortunately, my camera died at the beginning of the circus so we couldn't get many pictures. I always forget to charge my camera, I should work on that.

Last, but not least...BJ and I are havin' a baby! This didn't necessarily happen in September, but we wanted to wait till I was 12 weeks along before we started telling people. We told our families over Conference weekend and it was a lot of fun and exciting to be able to finally tell people! I'm now 14 weeks along and am due April 14th. We both just feel extremely blessed that I was able to get pregnant and for how well everything has gone so far. I feel like everyone posts pictures of their pregnancy progress, so I wanted to too, even though I dislike taking pictures by myself so I felt awkward, oh well:) So here's 14 weeks and only 26 more to go! I feel like this is going to be a really long pregnancy with me counting down week by week.

tWo sPLenDid YeARs!

Today is mine and BJ's TWO year anniversary! Does anyone else feel like when you get older, time flies by? I can't believe we've already been married for two years. It has honestly been such a wonderful experience and I couldn't ask for a better guy to be married to! There are a million good things that I could say about him, but I'll just tell a few...he is super patient and understanding, he never gets mad (he seriously never does, when we were dating I was just waiting for him to explode or at least be semi angry about something, and he never did. I think if he did now, I might start laughing), he is so nice and friendly to everyone he knows and meets, he never talks badly about anyone, he ALwaYs puts my wants and needs before his own, he is very hardworking and I'm so proud of all he's done, he is always up for doing fun things and does his best to plan fun and new date ideas, he has a strong testimony and honors his priesthood, and he helps me to want to be a better person! Like I said, I could probably go on and on, but I won't bore you all anymore:)

Here's the man of the hour...Mr. BJ Kramer! I just love this picture:)

On Friday night we went to the Spanish Fork rodeo/fair. They had a little car show and we both chose cars we'd someday want. Not that I really want a train, but I'd really like to go on a train like the one in Harry Potter. I just really want to go to Harry Potter world and have some Butterbeer. I pretty much talk about my dream to go there a couple of times a week:)

Then on Saturday, we went to Cowabunga Bay. We'd been warned that this waterpark is more for kids, but we had already bought our tickets and still wanted to check it out. It is definitely more for little kids and the slides are a little slow, but it was still a lot of fun and I really quite enjoyed it. We don't have very good pictures of our day there, so yeah.

BJ surprised me with a pair of TOMS, which I'm real excited about... When I first showed him these shoes, he asked me why they looked so weird? It was funny. They kinda do look like Chinese/ballet shoes, but oh well. I like 'em!

Today, we just went to church and had a relaxing Sunday. Here we are...BJ in his new spiffy pants and me in my old spiffy skirt:) BeeJ, these past two years have been so amazing and I look forward to the many years we have ahead of us! YouDa best! LoVe YOU!

St. George

BJ and I went on a quick weekend trip down to St. George over the 4th of July weekend. We only stayed 2 days, but we packed in a lot of fun stuff in a small amount of time. On Friday we went golfing (and I won by 3 strokes:), swimming, to dinner, and went and saw The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn (it was amazing!) Then on Saturday we went to Zion's National Park and spent about 7 hours hiking in 105 degree weather! It was hot, but worth it. We finally hiked Angel's Landing! Then that night we went and got Nielson's Frozen Custard! If you've never had this, you should definitely try it (they have one in Salt Lake)! It's delish!

The girl we asked to take our picture obviously wasn't the greatest photographer...

The DIRTY DASH*

At the beginning of June we ran a 5K race up at Soldier Hollow. It seriously was such a fun experience and it's something I'll definitely want to do again. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of the actual run. Just the before and afters. Our cameras would've been ruined if we brought them with us. Some of the obstacles they had included jumping over bails of hay, wooden fences with super sonic hoses spraying us down, a huge slip n' slide, and the grand finale was this big mud pit you had to swim through. 3.1 miles of pure fun!

And this here is our lovely softball team...

Las VeGas

Last weekend we had a nice little trip down to Las Vegas. We didn't stay on the strip, which I was grateful for. The strip is too crowded and dirty. The weather was beautiful and I was so happy to finally be able to go swimming. I'm sick of this crazy weather. It's nice one day and then rains/snows the next. I've lived in Utah my whole life and I know this happens every year with the weather and for some reason I still just can't believe that it's cold and almost May. Oh well. A couple of pics from the trip...

My cousin was in a baseball tournament down there, so we hit up one of his games and then the batting cages. I don't want to post the picture of me batting, but just know that I did quite well:)

I wanted to show this picture because this is how BJ spent most of his weekend. With Haylee climbing all over him:) She is a just a little ball of energy and can just go and go and go.

Hoover Dam

Our hotel had a bowling alley in it and BJ got a Turkey! He actually got 4 strikes in a row, but I don't think there's a name for that.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my grandparents with us, but we're grateful to them for taking us. It was a fun Easter weekend and a great way to celebrate the end of another semester.

A few weeks ago, I guess it was actually more like over a month ago, we went to the Festival of Colors with our friends Brittney and Eric. BJ and I had never been before and I've wanted to go the past couple of years, so we finally went. And it will probably be the last time I go. It was definitely a fun experience, but it was something I only needed to experience once. Oh and it completely turned all of our clothes pink!

a Trip back East

We went out to Jersey at the end of February beginning of March for BJ's younger brothers wedding. An interesting tid bit of information...BJ's family has had 3 weddings in 18 months! That's a whole lot of wedding stuff, but it's been fun and we're glad we've been able to be apart of them. On our flight out there, the flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems. I swear every time we fly out east we experience some inconvenience with our flight whether it's delayed 5 hours, cancelled, missing a flight, etc. We seriously have had some bad flying experiences, but I won't go in to that now. Anyways, while we were out there we naturally went in to NYC for a day which is always a fun time. It was nice to go in to the city during this time of year. We are usually there during Christmas and NYC during Christmas is basically insane and freezing.

This is the Toys R Us giraffe. Does anyone know his name? We didn't. I didn't even know he had a name. It's Geoffrey with a G in case you were curious:)

Time Square

The "gold man" in the subway station. Who does that?

We went to Phantom of the Opera on broadway. It was incredible!

Before we went out to New Jersey, BJ told me that he had a surprise date for me. He wouldn't tell me what it was until we got home, so I had to wait two whole weeks to find out! The surprise was that he got tickets to Disney on Ice! I know, I'm 5 years old. When people would ask us what we were doing over the weekend and we told them we were going to Disney on Ice, nearly everyone was like "oh. fun. Are you going with a niece or nephew or anyone?" But no. Just us. A couple of grown adults. It was loads of fun though and I loved it!

This picture is supposed to have all the characters behind us, but the lady who took our picture took her sweet time and they all skated off the ice. So here's us with a blank patch of ice. Oh, wait, in the corner there is the troll from Toy Story. At least he's there.
