EnD of SuMMer

Sadly, the summer has come to an end. Tear. I love the summer so much! BJ and I were able to do so many fun things this summer, like...milking a cow and going to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. This was my first milking a cow and it was definitely different than I thought. I was expecting the utters to be slimy, but they weren't at all. It was great!

I've never gone to a Real game before and I didn't realize that we had such die hard soccer fans here in Utah. I also didn't realize what a big deal Real is, I didn't know they were so good.

During August on Monday nights one of the parks had movies playing on a big projector outside. It was a fun group date activity, except I was sliding down the hill all night!

On August 21, the lovely BJ Kramer and myself celebrated our ONE year ANNIVERSARY! It's nice because we both have Fridays off and our anniversary was on a Saturday, so we were able to celebrate and do fun things all weekend. This past year has been the BEST year ever and I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing person!

We went to Tepanyaki for dinner and it was delish! This is our cook. He was quite talented with his cooking utensils!

On Saturday we went golfing at this course in Provo called Cascade and it was awful. Well it was fun, but we both played not well and lost like 30 or 40 balls between the two of us. It was a hard course though and kinda retarded. That night we went up to Park City and did the night ski lift and a little shopping. Overall we had a great anniversary and life is gReAT!

a Quicky to Jackson Hole!

Over the 24th we headed over to good ole' Jackson Hole for the weekend. It was great fun! Once we finally got there. The drive there was awful. I was told it took about 4 hours, so when we were getting into hour 7 I was getting pretty grumpy about it. Normally it wouldn't have taken that long, but we got confused on which way to go a couple of times. We got there Friday evening and just went into town and got some din din at a restaurant called the "Merry Piglets". You wouldn't think that a restaurant called the "Merry Piglets" would be Mexican, would ya?

Here we are sitting in a big bear...

On saturday we went river rafting on the Snake River. Haylee was able to come too because rather than have a river guide like what we normally do, we rented our own raft and started out in a place where the river doesn't have as many rapids and is a little more calm.

Is it just me or does my tricep look exceptionally big in this picture?:)

This is just a funny picture. Haylee was standing by Dutch as he was lounging on the couch like he always does and then she climbed up and layed by him and said that she wants to sit like Dutchy. Then she kept barking and walking around like a dog. I just love these two!

On Monday August 19, 2010 the lovely Ashley Bradshaw (now Anderson) married the lovely Stephen Anderson (now Bradshaw). They switched last names, it was weird. Anyways, she looked beautiful and their wedding was so much fun! I wish I had more pictures, more like any pictures, of the reception. But these are the couple that I do have of the temple. I'm so excited for both of them and they make a fantastic couple!

HiKiNG eXtRAvaGaNZa

Maybe I shouldn't call this hiking "extravaganza" because it makes it sound like we go everyday all the time and frankly that's just not the case. But...the past two weeks we have gone twice! That's kind of a lot, right? Two weeks ago we hiked on a trail up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It's a real easy hike and has a pretty view, the best part is the lake up at the top. It's right in the center of all the mountains so you can't even tell it's there. Then the other day we went hiking up Stewart Falls by Sundance. We went with Tyler, Laura, and Haylee. I think Haylee enjoyed herself considering she was carried the whole way:) No, we all enjoyed ourselves. This was also a pretty easy hike. It's about 4 miles total, but the trail is beautiful all the way up to the waterfall, so that was tons of fun too! A couple of weeks ago we were in New Jersey for BJ's sister's wedding. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the wedding. That was real smart of me, I know. We did take some pictures at the beach though. We went to the Jersey Shore. They were actually filming the day we were there so that was kinda neat. Jk jk, they weren't. We also were able to go to BJ's little brother and sister's graduations. Ben graduated from high school and Sarah graduated from 8th grade! It was fun being out there and being able to participate in all the exciting things that happened that week! Side note: can I just say that blogging is one of the most challenging things for me. It takes me forever to upload all these dang pictures and then they look awful and it just never turns out how I planned. It's rather frustrating and if anyone feels similar and has a better method, please let me know because for some reason I struggle with it pretty bad. That's all:)

SuMMeR fUN!

This last Saturday, June 12th, it was pretty much shower central and it was so much fun to see all the girls again! The morning started off CELEBRATING with a bridal shower for Ash and then we had a baby shower for Ali. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of Ali's shower. Hopefully someone else has copies of those because I'm bummed that I don't have our big group one. I'm so glad that we had such a great turn out and I'm really grateful to everyone who came! It was so GrEaT to see you all again!
Here is the lovely Mrs. Ashley Ann Bradshaw, the soon to be Mrs. Ashley Ann Anderson, showing off her new favorite outfit. She wore it to church on Sunday, it was a big hit:)

Haylee LOVED all the pretty dresses Ashley got. she pulled this one out and started pulling her pants off so she could put it on. I guess I know what to get her for Christmas and her birthday. She hates shorts, but is a big fAn of LinGerie!

A special thanks to Laura for helping me out so much with all the food and helping me plan. Everyone thanked me and said how great the food was, but she was the one who did the hard stuff, I just baked some potatoes, but now that I think about it that was pretty difficult to do:) tHaNkS LaUrA!

Last weekend my cUTe grandparents invited us down for a quick trip to Saint Jorge aka St. George. The weather was beAutiFul down there and we had a B-lAsT! We've been spending so much time working and BJ studying all the time so it was a much needed break. Saturday morning we went golfing. We played 18 holes! I don't know if you've ever played 18 holes in 106 degree weather, but it gets a little hot and sticky. We made a bet with my grandparents that whoever lost had to buy dinner that night, my grandma quit by hole 7. So you can imagine who won:)

Here I am just driving away. This was the second half of the course and my feet started hurting so I played barefoot. Surprisingly, I played a little beTTer. After golfing, we went for a quick swim and it was GreAt! For dinner that night we drove down to Mesquite because my grandparents wanted to show us their games they wanted to play at the casino. It was funny...my grandma sat down at a machine she likes and said she'd put 10 in for me and 10 in for her and she'd split whatever she made with me. Five minutes later she's handing me $35. That's the best gambling I've ever done. I didn't even do or pay anything and I made money, not bad, eh?

Finally, we went and visited the St. George temple. Those two activities seem opposite...casino's and temples. It was a SuPEr fun day though and we were very excited to have a liTTle break.

We also went to ChINa! I wish. Actually I don't wish that much. Anyways...on Memorial Day we were supposed to go camping but the dang snow storm in May kind of ruined our campground. Oh well. We still had a fun break! We went to the ZOO!

Here's us all at the bird show. This is a pretty legit show that they put on, but it did make it a lot more FuN to have Haylee there. She was so excited and screaming about every biRd we saw.

SurPrisingly, BJ does measure up. He's like a foot taller than a gorilla and his arms really aren't that much ShOrTEr. CongraTS beeJ, you could be a MonKEy!

YeAh, we touched the GiraFFes. They just came right up to us so naturally we petted their heads. Not really, this is just my talented camera skills. Or LUck. That giraffe kinda looks like he's going to fall over...
And finally here is the LoVELy bald eagle at the end of the show to celebrate MEMORIAL DAY!

This picture is random and really not flattering, but I had to put it in because it was monumental moment in my life. I think monumental is the right word? The bACk pACk i'm holding is one that I've had since the 2nd grade, and well, I just graduated from college. That thing has been around for quite some time and it treated me well. Granted, I've had several back packs through all my schooling years, but this one lasted till the end. BJ promised me a new back pack for school in the FALL so I figured it was time to say good bye to ole' faithful and this was the night I threw it away.
